Single wide thick piece of English Elm, suitable for a Fire Place Mantel. This wood has been Kiln Conditioned and Resawn flat to a uniform thickness. Mantels with a "live edge" or sapwood present, have been treated to exclude borer. Mantels can go through several drying cycles and resaw cycles to stabilise the wood for its warm dry application.
