Swamp Totara A Grade Slab 1888-29-1 

 
Medium slab, Resawn flat to even thickness, natural edges. Attractive spalting present, this wood is semi decayed but rescued before the decay has affected the wood’s structure. Kiln conditioned dry, treated with a coat of low odour turps and ripcord to protect sapwood  from borer. Ready to work as a single piece, using router sled, wide thicknesser, drum sand or simply using a hand belt sander or orbital sander.
