Tanekaha Mantel 1863-4-1
Single wide thick piece of wood, suitable for a Fire Place Mantel. This wood has been air dried. Resawn flat and to a uniform thickness. Mantels with a "live edge" or sapwood present, have been treated to exclude borer. Mantels can go through several drying cycles and resaw cycles to stabilise the wood for its warm dry application. Price includes kiln conditioning and final resaw. Some of these pieces are at different stages in this conditioning process, at least air dry, resawn and either in kiln, scheduled for kiln conditioning, in static kiln or wrapped.
